100,000 Refugees from Ukraine Housed by Airbnb Hosts in Over 90 Countries and Regions

Tech For Refugees partner Airbnb.org has reached its initial goal of providing shelter for 100,000 refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine.

Six months ago, the nonprofit committed to offering free, short-term housing to up to a hundred thousand people forced from their homes by the war. Since the Russian invasion in February 2022, more than 33,000 Airbnb Hosts have opted in to the program. The Hosts are located in over 90 countries and regions, including Germany, Poland, Denmark, Romania, Hungary and Canada.

Although the original target number has been reached, Airbnb.org and Tech For Refugees will continue supporting refugees from Ukraine and around the world.
